This plein air study was painted on my property in a beautiful area that we call “the gulch.” The dense trees filter the light beautifully through, creating dramatic shadows. It was the height of fall when I painted this and the colors were stunning.

The painting continues onto the edges of this 20X20” stretched canvas so it can be enjoyed from every angle.
