Emily Dwan is a professional visual artist based in Morrison, Colorado. She crafts abstract landscapes using acrylic paints that aim to capture the essence of a moment rather than realism. Emily uses a modern approach to Impressionism that she calls “Electro Impressionism.” Bright colors are enhanced, and brush strokes are accentuated to emit happiness and positivity. Most of Emily’s artwork is inspired by the Colorado nature surrounding her.

Another important facet of Emily’s work is stained glass mosaics. She breathes new life into seemingly ordinary objects by reimagining them as artwork. Antique wooden skis, guitars, and cellos are just some of her past unique canvases. Emily meticulously cuts stained glass pieces to craft her textural compositions. Emily also creates mosaics displayed as flat wall pieces or architectural installations.

Emily is now accepting custom commission requests. Reach out now to brainstorm a piece of art that will bring your home or business to life.

Stained Glass Mosaics

Emily creates unique textural art pieces that come to life with reflection

In addition to painting, Emily creates unique mosaic sculptures, wall pieces, and installations. Glistening stained glass, crystals, and found objects are thoughtfully applied to wooden canvases, floors, instruments, skis, and other forms to bring an exciting new life to these once-ordinary objects. Emily harnesses the power of color to elicit the viewer’s emotions with her vibrant compositions.
